About Our Team
Fun Fast-Growing Golf Society!
We’re one of the fastest-growing sports teams at the University of Kent, offering competitive and social golf for players of all levels.
Our team competes in BUCS matches across the South East. In addition to our team ventures, our wider society runs regular meets at the Canterbury Driving Range, hosting fun games, competitions and coaching for our members, and many fun social nights out such as Pub Golf.
We’ve hosted several taster sessions to increase participation, including two This Girl Can Golf events aimed at encouraging more women to try the sport.
Last year, we grew from 7 to 34 members and looking to grow to 80+ in 2026, finished 2nd in the BUCS South Eastern 2nd Division, and were Cup runners-up.
Our University Sports Scholar was twice nominated for the University’s Sportsman of the Year and Scholar of the Year awards, and has achieved four top-10 finishes in the last two seasons.
